Did you know that every non-citizen in the US have been required to carry 'proof of status' documents since Congress passed the Alien Registration Act in 1940? This would mean that all of these moonbats who are screaming about the Arizona law should also be protesting federal law. No point in that, though, since the Democrats are in charge of the federal side of things. So the claim that this Arizona law will require people to prove their citizenship is completely asinine. It's already federal law. Get over it. And while we are at it, let's address this issue of racial profiling. According to Kris Kobach, a constitutional law professor who helped to draft this Arizona bill, law enforcement officers "may not consider race, color or national origin" in making any stops or determining any aliens' immigration status. That is in the bill, folks!!
